Keeping Abreast of Changes
One of the most valuable tools that I use to keep track of changes in the law is the Supreme Court of Canada newsletter published by Eugene Meehan. When the Supreme Court of Canada makes a decision, you can count on this newsletter to give you a synopsis within a day or so.
Yesterday's newsletter contained a review of the Young v. Bella decision in which the Court upheld the jury award of $430,000 non-pecuniary damages in a negligence case. You can subscribe to the free newsletter here.
Have a great weekend!
